Every great story starts somewhere unexpected. Mine began in London, working on a project with an Indian home designer who specialized in soft furnishings. It was here, amidst fabrics and textures, that I first discovered my fascination—not just with cloth, but with the stories woven into every thread.
That early exposure taught me something fundamental the way a fabric feels, how it drapes, how it holds color—these aren’t just technical details. They’re the difference between something you wear once and something that becomes a trusted part of your wardrobe.
15 Years of Learning
What followed were 15 transformative years with a publicly listed textile manufacturing and apparel export company. But this wasn’t just a job—it was an education you couldn’t buy.
I traveled to fashion capitals, walking into the headquarters of global brands, sitting across from their designers, decoding what the world would wear next season.
I stood on textile mill floors, understanding fabrics at their most fundamental level—how they’re made, what makes them breathe, what
makes them last.
I learned the language of fashion trends, the rhythm of seasons, the delicate balance between what’s timeless and what’s of-the-moment.
